Orchestrated Beauty
By: Richard Blake Whitcombe

Never before, has such a beautiful array of colors shown before me.
High up, I look across the lonely valleys, as their mist echoes the light.
The clouds gleam, spotted and effervescent, with such grandeur.
This calm, quiet, and blessed morning, so marvelously glows so bright.

The sunrays creep over the mountain’s line and show itself slowly,
Until the sun burns so clear, that daylight has now been broken.
The majestic view sinks in, and my eyes begin to water so quickly.
How could I ever begin to think that I have ever been forsaken?

His power laid out before me, in a display of such vivid glory.
To arrange such a gift of gracious splendor, it is not someone’s duty.
But it is the love of a caring Savior, who gives us the daily reminder,
That there is only one God who can create such orchestrated beauty.
